Cruise the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea on a Catamaran that offers an entirely unique sense of freedom while snorkeling the most incredible reefs in the Mesoamerican marine park.
On the way to the famous El Cielo, you will have the opportunity to snorkel Colombia, and Palancar exploring eagle rays, lobsters, the fascinating colorful sea fans, and black coral that align the seabed. At the turtle sanctuary, be astounded by incredible orange starfish, large stingrays, and the opportunity to capture a glimpse of a majestic sea turtle on the sandy ocean floor.
Find yourself lounging on a powdery white sandbar, called El Cielito, mixed with sparkling turquoise waters while drinking Margaritas, and indulging in a banquet of ceviche and tropical fruits.
- We will meet at the Money Bar Beach Club, where you will receive a quick introduction and the remaining balance will be collected.
- Your host will equip you with your new snorkel tube, courtesy of us at Safe Tours Cozumel.
- You will board the “La Chulaaa” or the “Poseidon” catamaran and a guide on board will explain the safety measures and protocols for your cruising experience.
- The trip to the first point takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Additional passengers may be picked up along the way. The guide will give you instructions you must follow underwater, as well as how to properly use your equipment. It is essential to pay attention. This indicates that it is time to jump into the water.
- Your first stops will be Colombia and Palancar Reefs, where you will see the largest coral formations and species. After around 30 minutes snorkeling each reef.
- You will continue to the turtle sanctuary and “El Cielo”, there you will spend approximately 15-20 minutes at each spot. You will be able to see the beautiful starfish that sprinkle along the sandy floor bottom.
- Afterwards, the boat will take you to your final destination, where you will spend the rest of your time on a beautiful sandbank known as “El Cielito”. Here you can relax, the water is shallow so that you can sit on the sand. Ceviche, fruits and ice-cold refreshments like beer, Margaritas and rum punch, sodas and water will be served by the crew.
- The boat will take you back to your meeting point to conclude your Catamaran snorkeling adventure.

- It is important to be aware that the remaining balance will be charged at the meeting point (preferably in cash). Credit cards may be used, but you will have to pay the added 10% bank commission.
- IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting the ocean environment and the Mesoamerican Barrier reef; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish, and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation!
