1. After confirmation of your hotel’s name and location, we will email you a meeting time between 6:00 am and 6:45 am.
2. We will meet at your accommodation’s entrance, and you’ll board an A\C van to Marina Punta Sam.
3. Arrive at Punta Sam Ferry Terminal and start your check in, here you will pay the remaining balance.
4. Receive a debriefing about the whale shark swim at approximately 8:30am.
5. A small continental breakfast is served in the terminal before leaving the shore. (Recommended to eat lightly)
6. It is time to board the boat, the journey to the whale shark sighting area will take 40 to 60 minutes.
7. The guide will give instructions on how the operation will be for snorkeling with the whale shark upon arrival at the viewing spot, make sure you listen closely.
8. The adventure takes us on to a beautiful coral reef, astonishing species of Marine Flora and Fauna living together in this marine ecosystem. (This will take approximately 20 mins.)
9. Afterward, at Playa Norte, the crew will put on a feast of authentic, flavorful Guacamole and tasty, zesty fresh Ceviche.
10. Ask your crew for ice cold beers or refreshments (approximately time at the destination 40-60 min)
11. We will return to the maritime terminal and begin the ride back to Playa del Carmen.

• It is important to be aware that the remaining balance will be charged at the meeting point (preferably in cash). Credit cards may be used, but you will have to pay the added 10% bank commission.
• Our main goal is to swim with whale sharks however you should know that whale sharks are not in a cage or in captivity, they are in the wild, so… we may see a lot of them, very few of them or even, in some cases (2% of times) none. This is an EXPEDITION!!!
• It is required by conservation law, to have at least 5 or more whale sharks in the area, for swimming with the wildlife to commence
• IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting the ocean environment and the Mesoamerican Barrier reef; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.  Coral, fish, and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation!

• If you wish to have a Professional photo shoot while swimming with these impressive sea creatures, The photographer will be available at this time to capture your swim with the largest fish in the world.

• Our tours can operate in light rain and other moderate weather conditions; however, tour may be canceled in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions with a full refund.
