1. A meeting time is given when you confirm your hotel’s name and location. Will be specified once we know where you’re staying, but normally between 7:00 and 8:00 am.
2. The meeting point will be in hotel lobby or outside of your hotel or Airbnb (Please make sure to provide the name of your hotel or Airbnb when booking)
3. A host will be waiting to greet the guests.
4. Travel by A\C transportation to Marina Punta Sam.
5. Arrive at Punta Sam Ferry Terminal and start your check in, here you will pay the remaining balance.
6. There will be a briefing about the whale shark swim.
7. A small continental breakfast will be served, before leaving the shore. (It is recommended to eat lightly)
8. Boarding of the boat will commence.
9. 40-to-60-minute journey to the whale shark sighting area.
10. Upon arrival at the spot, the guide will give instructions on how the operation will be for snorkeling with the whale shark.
11. You will be accompanied by a certified guide in the ocean.
12. Professional photo shoots are currently available to capture your swim with these impressive sea creatures.
13. Voyage to a beautiful coral reef, boasting spectacular Species of Marine Flora and Fauna. (This will take approximately 20 mins.)
14. Onward to Playa Norte, where our crew will surprise you with a delicious feast of fresh Ceviche and Guacamole.
15. Relax, swim, and play here on this fabulous beach. The crew are available to offer you ice cold beers or refreshments (approximate time at the destination 40-60 min)
16. We will return to the maritime terminal. Transport will be available to take you back to your hotel.

Our main goal is to swim with whale sharks however you should know that whale sharks are not in a cage or in captivity, they are in the wild, so… we may see a lot of them, very few of them or even, in some cases (2% of times) none. We are on an EXPEDITION!!!

It is required by conservation law to have at least 5 or more whale sharks in the area, for swimming with the wildlife to commence.

• It is important to be aware that the remaining balance will be charged at the meeting point (preferably in cash). Credit cards may be used, but you will have to pay the added 10% bank commission.
• IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting the ocean environment and the Mesoamerican Barrier reef; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish, and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation!
• Recommended Dress: Casual, comfortable clothing. Swimsuit and towel. A hat, long UV shirt and sunglasses.

• FREE cancellation and full refund will be issued if notified within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your tour time; if it is within less than 24 hours in advance, booking fees cannot be refunded.
• If you show up under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will not allow you to take part in the activity and we will not issue a refund.
• Our tours can operate in light rain and other moderate weather conditions; however, tours may be canceled in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions with a full refund.

Safety & Health Guidance

• Guests must follow safety guidelines from the staff to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
• Staff will remind guests to keep physical distance, during the reception and brief-in
• Health screening of guests at the check-in will be done through a quick test that involves temperature checking; any guest showing signs of respiratory illness such as coughing, and sneezing will be excluded from the tour.
• Each guest will be asked to sign a declaration of health upon arrival.
• We will allow healthy people to enjoy the tour; the staff will encourage guests to use a face mask/face covering upon arrival. Due to local government policies, the use of face mask/face covering is mandatory.
• Guests must wear face mask/face coverings in communal areas, near other guests, and when interacting with the staff.
• The staff will provide each guest with antibacterial gel (at least, 70% alcohol) upon arrival.
• We have additional hand sanitizing dispensers to reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria.
• We will encourage guests to follow the handwashing protocol frequently, with soap and water for 20 seconds before and after any activity.
