Have the time of your life drinking margaritas, dancing to mariachis, and swimming alongside starfish and turtles in this tour perfectly designed for visitors from mainland and people staying overnight at Cozumel.
Along the way to El Cielo, you will have the opportunity to snorkel Colombia, and Palancar, two of the most popular reefs on the Island where you can encounter eagle rays, lobsters, and tons of colorful fishes. At El Cielito, enjoy some delicious snacks, and sip refreshing beverages while competing for tequila and partaking in dance competitions.
- The day begins in front of the Palmeras restaurant where our guide will be waiting for you to collect the remaining balance, provide you with your bracelet for the marine park, and walk you over to the starting point. It’s important to be here 30 minutes before the tours starts to avoid any issues and to be able to apply sunscreen if you wish to.
- At your start time you’ll board the Catamaran “Morningstar” and secure a seat. They’ll give you a life jacket, you must wear this when leaving port, but can take it off once you set sail. It’s important to note that there might be stops along the way to pick up other passengers.
- After around an hour, you’ll reach your first destination: Colombia and Palancar. You’ll spend the next 40 minutes in the water.
- When you finish snorkeling, you’ll hop back on board and head towards “El Cielo”, where you’ll spend the next 15-20 minutes swimming next to starfish and the ocasional. The ride towards this destination can take 15 minutes.
- You’ll hop back on board and begin the journey towards “El Cielito”. This should take another 10 minutes tops. At El Cielito, they’ll offer you your meal, some beverages, and lots of entertainment. Make sure to party on the sandbank and dance with the crew.
- 40 minutes later, they’ll ask you to board again, and you’ll begin the ride back downtown. During this, the sun will be setting, and the mariachi band will start playing. There will be lots of drinking games and plenty of time to make some friends.
- After an hour and 20 minutes, you’ll reach the ferry pier and your day at sea will conclude.

- Minimum drinking age:
- All Participants must have basic swimming skills.
- IMPORTANT: We are committed to protecting the ocean environment and the Mesoamerican Barrier reef; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish, and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation!
- DISCLAIMER: This activity is not done in captivity, the likelihood of seeing sea turtles and starfish is extremely high, but there are factors to consider.
