Visit the most popular snorkeling destinations at Cozumel; Colombia, Palancar, El Cielo, and El Cielito are known worldwide as famous diving and snorkeling spots with breathtaking reef formations and filled with marine species with varying sizes and colors. The views are unimaginable and must be experienced by those with an eye for beauty and a love for the sea.
When you arrive at the last destination, enjoy the delicious meal the crew has prepared for you sitting comfortably at your table and lounge at sea requesting drinks from the floating bar serving margaritas, beer, and sodas.
This is the perfect activity for visitors from mainland and people staying overnight at Cozumel. Because of its later start time, on your way back to the pier, you’ll enjoy Cozumel’s lively and warm sunset.
- We’ll meet in front of the Palmeras restaurant where our guide will be waiting for you to collect the remaining balance, provide you with your bracelet for the marine park, and walk you over to the starting point. It’s important to be here 30 minutes before the tours start to avoid any issues and to be able to apply sunscreen if you wish to.
- Boarding the Catamaran will take around 15 minutes, make sure to secure seats for you and your group. They’ll give you a life jacket, that you must wear at all times. It’s important to note that there might be stops along the way to pick up other passengers.
- The ride to Colombia and Palancar will take an hour. You’ll spend the next 30-40 minutes snorkeling.
- After your first dive, you’ll return to the boat and head towards “El Cielo”, where you’ll spend the next 30 minutes swimming alongside starfish. The ride towards this destination can take 7 minutes.
- You’ll hop back on board and begin the journey towards “El Cielito”. This will take 20 minutes. At El Cielito, you’ll be asked to step off the boat and float in the crystal-clear waters, while the crew sets the meals in each respective seat. While you swim, try staying close to the floating bar and enjoy some cool beverages.
- Between 50 minutes and an hour later, they’ll ask you to board again, to enjoy your meal while heading back downtown. During this, the sun will be setting, and the music will start blasting. There will be lots of dancing and plenty of time to make friends.
- After an hour and 20 minutes, you’ll reach the ferry pier and your day at sea will conclude.
